Shayne McBride

I joined Great Lakes Fm as a volunteer in 1997 as a cooperative agreement with the Great Lakes Radio Club INC to provide technical assistance.

I have always had an interest in electronics and I gained my Amateur Radio Licence in 1989. I am active in the local amateur radio community, building and maintaining repeater equipment and providing communications for events such as the Anaconda Race and safety check points at horse endurance rides.

I don't do all this work myself, I beg and bribe others to help. This gets the right people for the job as we all have areas that we specialise in.
