Our Radio PresentersTony GeorgeI have been in Australia for 47 years having come over from England in 1961. I'm married with two children.I moved to Tuncurry 4 years ago and have been involved with the radio station for about 3 years, 2 of which have been behind the mike. I enjoy most types of music except heavy rock and roll. Depending on my mood I could be listening to Classical, Opera, Jazz or Music from around the world. My preference is for country music however, and I try to mix a little of this in my show. Guinness is my favourite drink (when I can afford it!!). I have been lucky to have travelled the world in recent years and have experienced the fabulous nectar in many countries. There is a fable that Guinness doesn't travel. I guess that may be true as the best drop I've had was in the Guinness factory in Dublin which is where this photo was taken. I still water ski, love gardening, fishing and reading. Retirement gives me the time to enjoy the above and to play music I like over the airwaves. « Back to Presenters |
