Our Radio PresentersPalI think I must be the least musical person to love music! Growing up in Sydney I never had the chance to learn an instrument but when I turned 10 and began pretending I was one of the Spice Girls my love of music was confirmed. After school I took off to Armidale for University where my love of hip hop and R&B developed each Friday and Saturday night out on the dance floor. My girlfriends and I even started a group.. we called ourselves 'The Dominators'... because we 'dominated' the dance floor (you have permission to giggle).After Uni when my whole family moved to Forster I went to the Gulf of Queensland where I worked as a Governess on a massive cattle station, it was there that country music found its way into my soul, I love the way Australian country music really tells a story that we can all relate to. I've been in Forster for a year now and I am so happy to call this beautiful place home and also really glad to be a part of the family that is Great Lakes FM.
